Important Fulfillment & Delivery Updates in Response to COVID-19

In response to the evolving situation with COVID-19, Canada Post was no longer be delivering packages that require proof of identity or a signature to customers’ doors. Canada Post is now resuming direct delivery to some select house and townhouse residential addresses using a ‘verbal’ signature to complete delivery. If your address is not eligible for a verbal signature, the current process will be in effect and a card will be left for you to visit the post office for pick-up.

For more information about these changes to delivery method, please visit Canada Post’s website.

Due to a high volume of orders, orders may take slightly longer than usual to be fulfilled at our distribution centre. Currently, all orders are still being fulfilled within two business days of being placed.

Customers ordering from BC Cannabis Stores online will be required to collect their orders from a post office location in order to provide proof of identity and signature. Customers will receive a notice card indicating the post office where they can pick up their items.

Customers may also send someone to pick up their order on their behalf. This person must be 19+ years old, and must:

  • Present a valid government issued photo ID at the post office
  • A designate can pick up the item up on customer’s behalf if they are over the age of 19, reside at the same address as the customer, and can present a piece of government issued identification proving shared residence.
  • Present the delivery notice card, signed by the addressee indicating the name of the individual authorized to pick up the item.
