BC Cannabis Stores is committed to supporting its customers through this challenging time as the situation with COVID-19 continues to evolve.
In response to Canada Post’s decision to no longer deliver packages that require proof of identity or a signature to customers’ doors, BC Cannabis Stores has reduced its shipping fee from $8 to $6.
Customers ordering from BC Cannabis Stores online will be required to collect their orders from a post office location in order to provide proof of identity and signature. Customers will receive a notice card indicating the post office where they can pick up their items.
If you are unable to pick your order up yourself, you may send someone to collect the order on your behalf. This person must be 19+ years old, and must:
- Present a valid government issued photo ID at the post office and present the delivery notice card, signed by the addressee, indicating the name of the individual authorized to pick up the item.
- Reside at the same address as the customer and be able to present a piece of government issued identification proving shared residence.
Customers should also note that, due to a high volume of orders, orders may take slightly longer than usual to be fulfilled at our distribution centre. Currently, all orders are still being fulfilled within 2 business days of being placed.
